Tourney info: June 14th. Game time at 10 am sharp. No half time. 1 time out per team per game. Rounds are hard capped at 40 minutes with 5 minute break between games. Captains be there to check brackets at 9 am and teams to be there by 9:30. Games to 7 through quarters, semis games to 9 and finals games to 11.
Round 1: 10 am
Round 2: 10:45 am
Round 3: 11:30 am
Cross Over game Round 4: 12:15 pm
1 to 2 pm break with Pizza, grab some shade under frisbee central and cool off.
Quarters: 2 pm
Semis: 2:45 pm (50 min hard cap) 10 min break
Finals: 3:45 pm Game to 11 win by 2 hard cap at 15.

Prizes awarded to winners of Rec and Comp division. Each player will receive a player pack with goodies. Each team will receive a game disc. Additional TBUF discs and merchandise will be for sale at frisbee central. Some water and fruit will be provided. Each team is strongly encouraged to bring additional fluids, food and sunscreen. Cleats are optional but recommended.

• Rec division, 4 on 4, max team size of 6. One woman on field at all times opposing team does not have to match if you play 2 women. 20 dollars per person entry fee if paid at least a week in advance. 25 dollars per person if you pay in the last week up to tourney time. Team captain is responsible for paying entire team fee - no individual payments accepted.
• Comp division, 4 on 4 savage, 3 men 1 women. 80 dollars per team fee if paid at least a week in advance. 100 dollars per team if you pay in the last week up to tourney time.
• Elite Division, 4 on 4 savage, 3 men 1 women. If we can get 6 teams the Elite division will play for cash prizes. Entry fee is 200 dollars per team. 3rd place guaranteed their money back. 2nd and 1st place prizes will depend on size of bracket. If 6 teams do not register the remaining Elite bracket will be combined with the comp division and teams will receive a refund for the difference in entry fees.

You may signup one of two ways:

• Signup as a team captain, creating your team and selecting all your players or…
• Signup as an individual, saving your captain some of the trouble.

Either way, fees will be accepted for/from teams only - not individual players.

League!  Start the buzz!  The 2008 edition of Austin Summer League is right around the corner.  Games will begin on Tuesday, June 10th or Wednesday, June 11th and last for 8 full weeks!  The sweet lighted fields of East Metro Park in Manor, Texas will be home for Austin Summer League 2008. 

Expect an announcement about Summer League sign-up in the next few days.  Gary Breaux, Jacob Lohman and a half-dozen volunteers from UT Men’s Ultimate will ensure this year’s Summer League is one of the best ever! 

Tournament!  Austin’s own Riverside Ultimate is hosting the Historic Riverside Summer Classic two-day open tournament coming up the first weekend in June.  This tournament is designed exclusively for  solid 2nd-tier teams that fall between Elite and Rec in their level of play.  Competitive and fun!  There are a handful of teams already signed-up, but there is room for a few more.  Visit   http://austinultimate.org/riversidesummerclassic/ for all the gritty details.

Hat Tournament!  Pencil in June 21st.  That’s the date of the B-Cup Brawl hat tournament to be held in Veteran’s Park in College Station.  Game time - 10 AM - 6 PM.  Cost is $10 ($12 by check on day of hat tourney).  First 120 to sign up are guaranteed spots. You may pay by check or paypal, the latter is being set up.  More details coming soon. 

Patterson Pick-up is going on now.  It’s centrally located and occuring 6:30 PM every Tuesday and Thursday evening at (coincidentally enough, Patterson Park).  Find it by going 1/4 mile east of I-35 on Airport Blvd.
